I was a little too young to fully appreciate the Beatles in their heyday, but I idolized my older cousins
who idolized the Beatles. In my youth, I encountered many bands doing Beatles music in various
pubs and bars. When Eight Days A Week came to Brooks, Alberta, I was expecting just
another bar band to give me the excuse to leave during the intermission.
Was I ever wrong! These guys were far above the bar bands!
I felt like I was almost getting an original Beatles concert!

At first I was a little disappointed they didn't "look" like the Beatles
with their clothes, hair (other than the lead singer) but I soon forgot that 5 minutes into their performance.
The band was excellent, instrumentation very tight,,,we did ask the level of volume be turned
down a bit, which they did. The songs they chose were generally great and their enthusiasm
and rapport with the audience, good. I would book them again and recommend them to others!
The entire program was well received by the 400 people in attendance!

OVERALL – Eight Days A Week were GREAT!! My client and their guests had a blast...
I think the band did too! They met my expectations wonderfully. The quality of the music was exceptional
and the theme appropriate for the event. I would book this band again and recommend them to everyone!
The band was very cooperative, especially with very short booking notice. My favorite part of the
entertainment experience was when we revealed the band to the guests after dinner.
The speech segued to “I Wanna Hold Your Hand”
at which point all 50 guests jumped up on the dance floor. Awesome!

Now that the madness of Beatle Week has died down and we are getting back to normal

for all your hard work over this year's festival. It's official that this was the best festival yet!

I just have to say that this band is the real deal! I was at this bar called Hexters in Bowness
back in May when I received the listening pleasure of 8 Days A Week. I really appreciated the vocal
harmonies and the show antics of these fellas!! It was also pretty wicked how accurate they were
in achieving the Beatles' sound vocally and Rob Roy did all of the lead singing.
The band was so awesome!!! About 2 weeks ago, I had the pleasure of meeting and
listening to Rob at an open mic jam in S.W. Calgary and I must say that what I
like even more than his talent, stage style & voice, is his everyday character.
Positive, down-to-earth, confident, hard-working, friendly and wise. Rob (John)
you're an awesome dude and I can't wait to see another 8 Days A Week show!!!!
